The one with the seagull was accidental. I had the phone’s camera set to use “HDR”, which means it takes 3 shots in quick succession, and mixes their details to get the best detailed photo from these 3 together. This only works well with non-moving objects, and this seagull that flew into my frame was clearly too fast.
Look where I’ve been last week ;-)
Actually, this is the second snow. The first one was a couple of nights ago, a very thin layer, which disappeared quickly again. Didn’t “count” ;-)
3rd of January: We had rain and storm all day, so I wasn’t quite expecting this sunset. Result: noticing too late to go outside to get a better view of it. (fallen for that too many times – see great sky, get bicycle out, race towards the river, and arrive too late, even though it’s only 3 minutes to get there)
This one was this morning, while it was very stormy, and the whole of my neighbourhood seemed to be covered under a huge thick dark cloud, while showing bits of blue sky further away. Until photos come with sound, you’ll just have to imagine the howling wind to get the full atmosphere ;-)

Oops, better late than never – these were taken about 4 weeks ago.
The photos below were taken yesterday afternoon, a little before sunset.
The last one of the four was very close to sunset, and was after I’d given up on getting a nice sunset over the river, came back down the stairs and back on the bicycle, and looked back. So naturally I stopped again :-)
The weather was all over the place Sunday. It started completely overcast, then the sun came out, then rain, and then the sun again. The only consistent factor all day was the wind. Very windy day!

I was planning to take a photo of the mug with the hot chocolate milk in it, with whipped cream on top and possibly even with sprinkles, but as I was putting the powder into the mug, I noticed this little white and brown composition instead.
