I took this photo last night, on the way home from a day at the zoo. I had already packed my camera in my bag, but after getting off the bus at Central Station, I saw the sunset reflecting its colours in the sky and the buildings, so I just unpacked the camera again and took this photo.
The two towers together, are ‘Gebouw Delftse Poort‘, which was the highest building in Rotterdam until last May. The tower on the left is 151 meters high, and has 41 floors. The new highest building is ‘Maastoren’, with 44 floors and a height of 161.2 meters.
