On our way to my sister’s for Christmas dinner.
I had to rotate the image for straightness, but then noticed the background was set to red, and liked how that looked with the red hat in contrast with the blue sky and coat. So I left it like that, instead of cutting the corners to get just the photo.

Saturday, December 4th, 2010It’s been snowing all day here, but apart from buying groceries, I didn’t feel like going out with my camera. Tomorrow might just be too late though, as the forecast claims it’s all gonna melt tonight, and we’ll have sleet and hail kinda weather. So, I left it till dark, and then remembered I could take a longer exposure shot. This one’s taken from my balcony with a tripod: F/11, 13 seconds, ISO-200. A genuine outdoors tungsten light photo :-)
As for the title, if you look very closely you’ll see him at the far end of the field, to the left of a thin young tree. Here’s a close-up from another photo taken a few seconds earlier, it’s a rather big one.
