This is my entry for the 4th episode of #ProjectTwime, which has “Love” set as the theme.
My first idea was something totally different: I have a favourite tea mug which I planned on photographing. It was a gift from my niece, and it has the smiling faces of my kids on it, on a background of brightly coloured stripes. Love that mug, love my kids, love a good cup of tea.
But… this morning these same kids woke me up with breakfast in bed, using that same mug for my tea, and they had a surprise for me too: “Mum, guess what? We know what you can take a photo of for this weekend’s theme!”
And they explained about the newly emerged sunflower plant that has its leaves stuck together in a heart shape.
